Randy Robinson, Executive Director of the Iowa Turfgrass Institute, awarded Collin Witte, of West Fork High School, the Turf Grass Management Proficiency Award at the recent Iowa FFA Association Leadership Conference (State Convention), held at Hilton Coliseum in Ames. Wyatt Mohr, of Mediapolis High School, was the runner-up.
The ITI continues to support the Iowa turfgrass industry by partnering with the FFA and sponsoring this annual award! During the 3-day event, ISU turfgrass instructors and managers hosted FFA student tours of Jack Trice Stadium, introducing students to turfgrass management and its career possibilities.
