The Iowa Turfgrass Institute (ITI) exists to foster research, education and dissemination of information on turfgrass so as to benefit the people of Iowa and the environment. An important facet of the ITI mission is funding for turfgrass research as well as scholarships for Iowa students in turfgrass management.

The ITI, in concert with the Iowa Golf Course Superintendent Association, holds the annual ITI Benefit Golf Tournament to secure funding for research and scholarships.
The ITI Benefit Golf Tournament has a long tradition of support from sponsors and players. Thanks to all who continue to contribute to making this the best of events that support turfgrass research and education.
